CHAPTERS 6 AND 7

I LIKED CHAPTERS SIX AND SEVEN. THERE WAS'NT THAT MUCH TO READ COMPARED TO THE OTHER CHAPTERS. THESE TO CHAPTERS SHOWED COURAGE AND DETERMINATION. ELIE WAS VERY ENCOURAGING TO OTHERS. HE WOULD TELL PEOPLE NOT TO GIVE UP KEEP GOING. BUT I GUESS HIS WORDS DID'NT MEAN ANYTHING TO THOSE WHO WERE TIRED WHEN THEY WAS RUNNING. THE MAIN FOCUS WAS HIS FATHER. MAKING SURE THAT HID FATHER DID'NT GO TO SLEEP. THESE CHAPTERS WAS SAD. THE WAY PEOPLE LOST THERE LIVES. DAY'S WITHOUT EATING OR SLEEPING HAD TO BEEN HORRIBLE AND PAINFUL. THE FEAR OF GOING TO SLEEP AND NEVER WAKING UP AGAIN IS SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT BUT SOME PEOPLE STILL DID'NT CARE WHETHER THEY LIVED OR DIED AS LONG AS THEY GOT TO SLEEP. WHEN THE SS OFFICERS WERE THROWING OFF DEAD CORPSES OF PEOPLE WHO HAD FROZED TO DEATH THEY THOUGHT THAT ELIE'S FATHER WAS ONE THEY WERE ABOUT TO THROWN HIM OVER. OTHERS WAS HAPPY BECUASE IT MEANT MORE ROOM. THEY WOULD UNDRESS THE DEAD AND THEN THROWN THEM OVER. COULDNT
IMAGINE TAKING OFF SOMEBODYS CLOTHES THAT WAS DEAD IN THIS CASE THIS MEANT SURVIVAL. TO KNOW WHAT THEY HAD MTO GO THROUGH JUST TO SURVIVE MAKES ME THANKFUL.
